AMOWI works with translations from English to Swedish in the fields of Economics, Technology, IT, Medicine, Health, Tourism, Education as well as general texts. The customers are local and international companies, associations, authorities and
organisations.
About Anette Herbert
I first lived in the UK between 1988 and 1996 and worked within the Citizen's Advice Bureau advising the public on issues regarding social insurance, employment, housing, consumer rights, family law, money and debt. Later, I worked with Personal Development and as a Computer operator within the Finance department of Devon County Council.
These eight years in the UK have proved extremely valuable in giving me a deep understanding of the English language and culture. The knowledge and experiences I acquired during this period has at the same time become an invaluable asset in my translation work.
Back in Sweden I started my own business AMOWI in 1999 to work professionally with translations between Swedish and English.
I have now returned to the UK, where I am continuing with translations and warmly welcome old as well as new customers.

Bachelor of Social Sciences Degree in Economics and Economic History at the University of Stockholm, Sweden 1987.
